Nigeria Medical, Clean Water & Education Project

 

Ventura Missionary Church has partnered with Community Life Partners of Nigeria to provide primary medical care to a remote village in Kebbi State, Nigeria. In doing so, we have discovered that many of the illnesses that plague this village are due to contaminated water sources. We have added a Clean Water Component to our trips to train local villagers how to clean and cap open pit wells to provide clean drinking water (and less standing water) thus reducing the incidences of malaria, typhoid, cholera and other water borne diseases within the community.  We also support a primary school to bring quality education to the children of the community.
